Llangarron Lottery

Congratulations to the winners of the second Llangarron Lottery draw which took place at the Community Cafe on 24 March.

The fourth and final draw of the 2018-19 Llangarron Lottery Club took place at the Community Café last Saturday, with guest draw-master Rev. Ben Bentham doing the honours, and the results were as follows:

Shares cost £24 each and there are four quarterly draws with three prizes awarded in each draw. Total annual prize money is £1,200.

The first draw of the 2020-21 LCA Lottery took place in September – draw-master Nigel enlisted the assistance of his neighbour Ian to draw the numbers. The results were as follows:

Annual Shopping Trip to Bath
The annual coach trip Bath will take place on Saturday 9th November.
Tickets adults £13, under 18's £8.
Coaches leave Whitchurch at 8.30 am and depart Bath at 4pm.

Warm Welcome Cafe - Thursday 27th October and 24th November, 10.30 - 3.00pm

Starting on Thursday 27th October at the Garron Centre in Llangarron, a walk-in cafe will be opening from 10.30 – 3.00pm offering teas, coffees, homemade cakes, and light lunches. This will be the first monthly gathering in a "Warm Place" in addition to the two regular Saturday coffee mornings.
Newspapers, magazines, games, tv, and other activities will be available. The Centre will be open to everyone and is an opportunity to come and socialise this winter as part of regular events being held in either Llangarron or Llangrove over the next few months. The whole community is working together on this trying to coordinate any plans. All are welcome. More details will be published soon.
If you’d like to come and help or if you don’t have transport, please call 01989 770321 or 01989 770221 - we understand that people sometimes don’t like to drive, particularly in poor weather. The Garron Centre and Llangrove Village Hall both have good internet connections, so if you are working from home and fancy a change of scenery, here is your chance!
