Langstone Court, with its beautiful gardens and parkland, is the magnificent venue for this year’s Fête on Saturday 5th July from 1.00-5.00pm. Topping the bill is a Circus Show by Circus Antics combining stunning acrobalance and physical theatre to a thrilling effect. Also, there will be two workshop sessions to give children a chance to try their hand at a range of circus skills. |

The 2008 ‘Bring a Cushion’ series of concerts in Llangarron Church got off to a very good start with a performance by the accomplished Four Seasons String Quartet on Friday 29th February. |

An appreciative audience enjoyed an evening of harmony and humour given by the Wye Valley Chorus on Saturday 22nd September. Despite being depleted through illness, the 12 strong group of dandily dressed gentlemen, conducted by Paul Mills, performed a varied repertoire of songs including ‘Georgia on my Mind’, ‘Under the Boardwalk’ and ‘When I’m 64’. The programme aptly ended with a moving rendering of Eli Jenkins’ prayer: ‘Every Morning when I Wake’ from Dylan Thomas’s ‘Under Milk Wood’. |
