The 2010 Progressive Supper will be held on Saturday 17th April. This is an excellent and convivial way to meet others from our spread-out Parish and catch up with old friends.  

For those unfamiliar with the concept - sometimes referred to as a ‘Safari’ Supper - groups of 6-8 people convene at one house for the starter, split up and progress to another house for the main course and finally move on to meet everyone at the final venue for a magnificent selection of puddings and coffee.

Planning the various parties is a logistical nightmare as great care is taken to ensure that the groups are varied and that access and dietary requirements are accommodated.  The fact that it runs smoothly is due to the efforts of Gill Drayton and Val Sullivan who meticulously plan the groupings and movements.

The price has been held at £10 per person and, as such, is extremely good value for an enjoyable evening out. We do need volunteers to host either a starter or main course as most of the regular hostesses deserve a break!
